I took this photo yesterday. It was a lovely day, bright blue skies and some clouds.
Photo taken at The High Line, on of my favorite parks in New York.
The High Line is a public park built on an historic freight rail line elevated above the streets of Manhattan's west side.

I didn't expect to see such nice birdhouses in the middle of the city.
This really makes me smile.

I have a thing for bicycles, even more now that I don't own a bike anymore.
I'm not really comfortable biking around here in NYC, traffic is crazy and a lot of (deadly) accidents happen.
This photo was taken in Holland, this past weekend, outside a church on Sunday morning.

I am not very comfortable photographing people, unless I know them, but complete strangers is not something I photograph a lot.
I'm more of a 'thing-photographer'.
But last month on one of my photo strolls I walked around at the Union Square farmers market.
There are many nice things to photograph at the market, for instance these bright colored apples.
And this lovely lady just happen to end up in my photo as well.
Actually I like this photo a lot, maybe because it is something I normally wouldn't shoot.
This last month I have looked at this photo over and over again, should I post it on my blog or not, always ending up choosing another photo.....
Today this photo is finally ending up here, looking through all my March photos, this was the one I liked the most!

I haven't been around much in the last few days, I was in Holland to celebrate my parents 35th anniversary.
I thought it would be nice to post a photo of dress and heels I wore that day since Rose and Julie requested this in the comments on my heels photo.
It was a lovely day and I am glad we were able to fly to Holland, even though it was only for a couple of days.
The heels were great too, didn't hurt a bit, but I must say that I sat down most of the time :-).

I took this photo this morning in my hometown Zoetermeer in the Netherlands.
When I was in high school I passed this house everyday on my bike. I haven't seen this place very much in the last few years.
Not much has changed since, maybe a new rowing boat, other than that it still looked the same as ever to me.
