Hi Julie, yes we do have Brownstones here in New York, these two buildings are not what they call Brownstones. But I will try to photograph some beautiful brownstones and post it here!

The bare branches add to the tawdryness of the buildings. I have heard the term 'brownstones'. Is the smaller one of these?
