i always wondered where that was! now i know.. did you ever take the path to jersey? get off at the newport/pavonia stop. there you have a great view of manhattan as well... (i lived there in 2004 for 3 months..)
@CaT, yes sometimes I do take the path to jersey, it's a beautiful view from that side as well!
@Lochinver Daily Photo, to be honest I don't know what those posts do there. I don't think they are remains of an old pier because they look so new to me. But then again, I have no idea. But if anybody knows, now I am curious too.
