Sugar Hill, Harlem

6 comments:

  1. Gorgeous colour to the leaves of that tree.

And the building. I love the detail in the brickwork. Around the windows and in the stair well. Those stairs are a puzzlement. Is is a fire-escape or instead of internal stairwells? When I look closer, there is gorgeous wrough iron above the first floor.

    Very engrossing image, Nellie.

    1. Yes I thought this was a very interesting building too. The stairs are indeed the fire-escape stairs. I have taken this photo this summer, now all the trees are leave-less and it doesn't look green anymore at all, its actually looking very grey now.

Ik ben ook een Nederlandse, maar tegenwoordig woonachtig in New York. En er is hier zoveel moois te fotograferen dat ik van plan ben om nog vele mooie foto's te plaatsen!
