All Your Dreams Belong to Us by D'face

Photo taken at corner of West 13th Street & Washington Street in NYC.
This corner is known for its street art. I was drawn to the bright colors and the eyes. What I liked the most is the little crown over the right eye. (of course this wasn't part of the original, as you can see here.)
This mural has been here at least since 2008, so I am not surprised people are starting to put up some new stuff.

  4. There is a slightly sinister connotation in the tag and yet the colours and mingling shapes are bewitchingly beautiful!

  5. A very interesting mural - I was trying to read what was written below the crossed out word "Love" and couldn't quite make it out. It always saddens me when people deface murals with their own writings and scribbles...and it must make the artist sad also to see their work altered. This is a nice shot.

    1. Hi Linda, I had to look it up on one of my other photos, but below the crossed out word "love" it says: "More space to occupy"

  10. Wow, this mural has really morphed into a participatory project. Too bad it was used as a canvas; but then a guy with the name D'Face would probably expect this to happen. Thanks for participating again in this week's Monday Mural, Nellie.
