Today was such a beautiful day here in NYC. It felt like spring (temperatures in the lower 60's), my wintercoat was definitely too warm.
In Bryant Park, photographed above, it was hard to find a seat that wasn't taken yet. Lots of people were enjoying lunch, a book, the sun or their phone.  On days like this it is always interesting to see what people wear. This girl above made sure she wouldn't get cold. Later today I saw a girl wearing only a tank top and a pair of jeans.  Friday we will have some rain again, so in the meantime I will enjoy this spring-like-weather!

  1. The thing that amazes me about the big cities is the wonderful, eclectic mix of people. I'm in Philly this week and got to walk around the city last night. So incredibly interesting, all the different people, places, energy...

    1. On days like this, when it is suddenly a beautiful warm day, people seem to be nicer and more relaxed here. We didn't have a bad winter at all, but days like this seem to make everybody happy :-)

  3. Very nice photo. She must be weird to sit in the sun with a furhat on, or is it a statement?

    1. I think she loves her hat so much, she doesn't want to get rid of it yet, haha. No serious I don't know what she is trying to say. But it is not uncommon to see "weird" people here in New York.
